As far as I can tell, the Germans around here don’t celebrate cinco de Mayo. I mean, May is a pretty packed festival and public holiday season, so I guess they have to pick and choose their celebrations.

Aside from that, Spring has sprung! Everything is green and blooming. I think the on/off (usually on) rain the last few days has really helped with the green situation.

I love all the different and new smells outside right now. Tulips are everywhere and so are flowering trees. It’s definitely something you notice and appreciate when you are in a place with definite seasons like Germany.
