Well, I’m back in Frankfurt. The sun was out and it was in the 50s today (I heard it was sunny all week, but I’m choosing to ignore that).
I have a ton of pictures and experiences to sift through, so if you don’t like hearing about Portugal, I’d suggest checking back in a week or two.
But first, a few sights from the gorgeous, colorful, sleepy, windy, sunny town of Lagos where I spent the last 4 days.
The main beach of Lagos, Meia Praia.
Lagos is in the region of Portugal called the Algarve. It extends from the country’s edge in the West to the Spanish border in the East. This is the area where the Portugese explorers set off on their journeys, and where Henry the Navigator had his sailing school. It’s steeped in history, and almost seems untouched.
So, more pics to come. So many more pics to come. Hopefully they’ll bring a little sunshine to the end of a cold month.
