On my first day in Lagos, I decided to go on a walk through the cliffs. I amazing grilled fish at Cafe do Mar, a quaint spot situated on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean, then started on my journey, not knowing what to expect.
What happened next blew me away. I was surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever seen, and with every turn on the trail, I saw something new.
The wildflowers were stunning. The cliffs were magnificent. I felt like I could be in Scotland; even though I’ve never been to Scotland, I imagine this is what it would be like, minus the sun.
I even came up on (wild? I’d like to think so) horses.
I took a selfie! (The things you do when you’re roaming the countryside solo…)
I passed Praia da Batata, Praia do Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo, until I found myself at the Ponta da Piedade…
