I can’t believe we’re well into March and I haven’t talked about March goals. I love this little goal sheet I found on Pinterest or somewhere; I think it’s perfectly simple and all that we really need to be concerned with. More of one good thing and less of one bad thing.
In Portugal (yes, I mentioned it again), I took a few yoga classes with this one yoga teacher. She was a little kooky, but I enjoyed her in a weird way. She started talking about all the chakras and our connection to the universe, and I tried really hard to get it, but I kind of just wanted to stretch.
But she also talked about heart opener poses and opening your heart to the world. And I thought it was really nice. It’s exactly what I’ve been trying to do: be more aware of my actions around the different people I encounter each day.
So I’ve been starting my days with simple heart opener stretches and an intention to open my heart to the world. Funny enough, when I went to class in Frankfurt on Saturday, the teacher said we were going to focus on heart openers. My mind/body connection was totally digging it.
My plans for March: more opening my heart to the world, less being unaware of how my actions affect others.
