My guess is that the US Google Doodle was related to something way more boring (but also more certain) than asparagus…

So much happened today, I’m not sure how I’ll fit it into one post.

What I’ve seen at the market has been confirmed by Google’s announcement today: it’s the start of the 2015 asparagus season! Spargel, as it’s called here, is really celebrated by the Germans…especially the fancy white kind. The season is short, but it always marks the beginning of Spring.

Second: I attended the first ever yoga session at my office.

I would actually use the term “yoga” very loosely here. Yes, it bordered on adult nap time, and yes, I do think a line is crossed when you see co-workers in yoga pants. But let me tell you, putting on my yoga pants in the middle of the day, and getting the chance to drift off on that mat gave me mid-day pleasure that I haven’t had since preschool.

Yoga and asparagus: yes, please!
