The stunning Ganymede statue at Zürich’s Bürkliplatz – representing man’s desire to climb Mt Olympus.
A year ago today, I arrived in Germany with a month’s worth of clothes and an open mind. I knew the first year would go fast, and it has. I can’t remember another year in my young adulthood where I experienced so much. grew so much, and learned so much, both personally and professionally.
I’ll be celebrating my anniversary enjoying the cafes and taking in art at the museums in Zürich (rain day plan) and appreciating the European culture I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted into (and that at the present moment, people are risking their lives to live on this continent). I’m so so grateful for all I have and all I’m able to do and see.
