The poppy field behind my office

I had picked out an orange dress to wear to work today. But when I woke up and looked in the mirror, I realized I was more red from the weekend than I had thought.

Orange on red doesn’t make for the most subtle outfit choice. So I went with black instead.

I was feeling good after my me day, ready to finish up some projects before dad’s visit this coming Thursday.

But I guess everyone else, dragging in from their four-day weekend, wasn’t on the same productivity page.

Everyone was on the same sunburn page though.

Everyone in the office came in this morning equally pink and glowing from a weekend where the sun did not stop shining.

Fresh sun does wonders for that groggy Monday morning look.
