Oh. Hi there.
I haven’t forgotten about you.
I just wanted to leave a mega cliffhanger before post about the strawberry festival dad and I went to (continue to hang on).
I’ve been busy.
I was in London last week (and I don’t think I need to tell you where I ate and stocked up on peanut butter…ahem…Whole Foods).
And when I got back, I was wiped out.
So when I got home from work, I powered down my computer and slept.
And when I woke up it was rainbows and Amazing Grace!
And now I think I’m ok.
So here’s a little mash-up of what’s been going on:
- George comes for a night next week. So pumped to have a partner in crime and I’m ready for some laughfests.
- There are a few bathrooms that smell like margaritas. I think it’s the cleaning solution here. But it makes me want a margarita every time.
- I finally bought a chandelier for my dining room. Now I just have 5 other spots with wires coming from the ceiling that I need to accessorize.
- When I had the chandelier installed, it wasn’t easy for the guy, and he was grumbling something awful. But I paid him no mind. Because Germans can install anything.
- I’m still on a hunt for an English-speaking church.
- I recycled my first bottles for money. I took 3 bottles and only 1 was worthy, but I still got 25 Euro cents. Well, I got a receipt for 25 Euro cents. Not sure what I do with it. But this is very exciting and promising (for the 1 bottle of water I drink a month).
And now you know why I thought the blog could wait a week. Clearly the news in America is much more captivating than my life.
Coming soon…the strawberry festival…
love the way you write.
Thanks dad! I think you might be interested in the margarita scented cleanser!
