It seems like whenever July comes, I have a bit of a freak out.
I’m not making the most of summer.
I’m not spending enough time outside.
I’m should be hanging out with my friends more.
I have to make sure I’m not missing any outdoor concerts.
I hate that the sun comes up before 5, but I can’t hate it because the opposite is the dead of winter, plus I should be getting out of bed to make the most of summer!
At the beginning of every month, I reevaluate my goals, assess the previous month and decide what I want to focus on next. When I did this exercise for July, it seemed more urgent and necessary than usual.
What books do you want to read? Recipes to try? Gratitude to give? Fitness goal to conquer? Kindness to pass on? How are you going to listen to your body this month?
We’ve got a lot of work to do, you and I!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get outside. Summer’s waiting.
