Today’s spiritsunday adventure took place in Eppstein.

Eppstein is a small town near Kronberg where dad and I experienced the strawberry festival. This area is where all the kings used to live, so it seems like there are castle ruins in all of the towns.

I went on a hike with a friend through the green forests of the Taunus.

We passed by water lilies, deer, mountain wildflowers.

There were gorgeous views of Frankfurt and I kept saying, “one sec, I have take a pic!”

It was a relaxing day, hiking and chatting and escaping the hustle of the week. I really love how I can be completely in nature in a quiet town on the outskirts of Frankfurt and it feels like I’ve gone on a vacation.
