It’s been a crazy couple of weeks…going nonstop at work and life. It’s tough to maintain a sense of balance when sleep is short and days are long, but I know it’s just part of the ebb and flow of things (and I’m hoping the flow will return soon).
BUT I wanted to share the rest of the pics from my beach weekend with George. We shared laughs and cake (well, me more than him on the cake part).
The beach in Holland was…different. There were lots of wheelchairs (we speculated it was a rehab beach), lots of seagulls (they set up shop right outside our apartment and didn’t stop squawking all night), lots of interesting encounters with the Dutch (that usually involved them being way, way too friendly), and lots of bikes (including our own rented rusty bike adventure to the city).
It was, however, good to get away and hang out at the beach with my brother–both of which I miss a ton.
Note: I realize these 2 pics are on their side. Too tired to figure out how to flip them.
