We arrived in Hirschegg, Austria (right across the border) Thursday night, and with rain in the forecast, we got up early Friday to make the most of the sun while we had it.

We set out on a moderate 6 hour loop, stopping to take pictures of, mainly, cows.

The weather was amazing and the clouds only started to roll in in the late afternoon.

Sunshine, exploring, good conversation, mountain air. Cows.

At the end of the day, I looked at my friend and exclaimed, “This was a perfect day.”

And it was.
