I will never learn.

It was supposed to be 60 and sunny today. I got up early and went to the gym so I could enjoy the day. The sky was clear and there was promise of a gorgeous day.

By the time I headed out to the market around noon, it was cloudy and still had not warmed up from the morning.

I thought to myself, it’s so funny how long it takes a day to warm up.

Well, I will never learn.

I biked around town without gloves, assuring myself that it was going to warm up soon.

At the end of the day, when it was clear that it was not going to warm up, I headed to a little cafe to have some tea and hang out.

As I was sitting there, the Bobby Womack cover of California Dreamin came on. This is probably the most depressing version of an already depressing song.

The marathon is tomorrow…hoping for sunshine! (I will never learn)
