My little brother turns 30 today. In honor of this milestone, here are 30 of the things I love about him.

30. He always makes me laugh.
29. When I see something that I know he’ll think is funny, I can hear him laughing in my head.
28. He is smarter than I could ever think of being.
27. Seriously, how do you even start to think of how to write a song?
26. Sometimes he comes out of the blue and surprises me with his deep thoughts.
25. He has a gentle side to him.
24. He is calm.
23. He can make anyone laugh.
22. I don’t even have to look at him to know he’s thinking exactly the same thing.
21. We can not talk for a few days, and pick right back up where we left off.
20. I don’t know what it’s like to have a twin, but I feel like this is pretty close.
19. He gives great advice.
18. He is empathetic.
17. He dances to the beat of his own drum.
16. He loves popcorn.
15. He is a portable party.
14. He is rational.
13. He is creative.
12. He is outgoing.
11. He has a way with people that I admire.
10. He is grateful.
9. He is polite.
8. He enjoys everything.
7. He loves our family, and makes an effort to hang out with them (I owe him for all the parties I’ve missed)
6. He can impersonate anyone.
5. He makes the most out of life.
4. He can make friends anywhere.
3. He can make friends with anyone of any age.
2. He’s always willing to help.
1. He is my inspiration for living a full life.
