I feel like I’m in a European version of a college bowl game.

Everyone’s driving around with flags on their cars and walking around in their team colors.

Except over here, it’s their country flags.

I never knew so many people were into wearing their country flag like a cape!

The Euro 2016 tournament is coming to a close, but in the past few weeks there have been games nearly daily. After a game ends, you hear horns and vuvuzuelas and see people hanging out of cars waving their flags.

The people over here are nuts for this thing! And rightly so; the weather has been completely dull, the news has been depressing, and people just want to have a bit of summer fun.

So we’re down to the final 4 teams.

Germany plays France Thursday night and I’ll be watching with my French friend…and may the best flag win!
