Last weekend, I had a quick stopover in London (enough time to hit all my favorite shops and get an avocado toast with poached egg) before I hopped on the short train to Tonnbridge – a small town in county Kent.
The school where I did my yoga teacher training was hosting a short workshop-style retreat, and when I heard so many of my teacher colleagues would be there, I knew I had to make the trip.
It’s amazing how a couple of days of mindfulness and connection can feel like a complete reset.
In between our yoga sessions, I took walks through the countryside, reflected on life, and caught up with old (new old) friends.
And I cannot even tell you how amazing the vegan chef was…
The old manor we stayed in was so quiet and calm. I slept so deeply.
It was the perfect time to set Spring intentions. Although the season still isn’t completely here yet, it’s trying so hard…and the energy of this anticipatory time is so strong.
I came back to Hamburg feeling balanced and focused.
Welcoming Spring with open arms, whenever she decides it’s time to arrive.
