Work Work Work

I’m starting my sixth month in Hamburg, and at my new job.

So many friends have been asking if I like my new job; I must say that I do.

I was interested in this job for many reasons, and so far, all of those reasons have met my expectations.

I feel that I have a voice (in hindsight, I know I had one all along) and I feel empowered to use it.

I enjoy working in an industry that I am so personally connected to – and I’m driven to help people live better lives.

A change of careers is a huge step out of one’s comfort zone. This is also attractive to me, because I strongly believe it’s really one of the only ways we grow.

So, yes, I like my new job. I’m at a place in my life where I can see the path I have paved to get myself where I am today. And I know what I’m doing now is paving the way for even bigger growth and opportunities in the future, which are still unknown to me.

Here’s a bit of what I’ve been up to lately at work:

FIBO – Europe’s largest fitness trade fair took place in Cologne. We had a great presence and I worked with our agency to create the branding on the back wall.

Brand and Innovation Days in Graz, Austria.
My colleagues and I presented our newest innovations to our company. We spent a couple of days in this cultural capital of Europe. Art and inspiration surrounded us.

My very first photo shoot with an inanimate object.
I questioned why we needed a full day to shoot a protein bar, but little did I know of all that goes into a food shoot. Our food stylist created large replicas, and was busy all day arranging the bars so they looked perfect. I’m so happy with the shots we got and the material we’re going to create! Also happy to add this skill to my shoot resume.
