Mir ist kalt.

7 This is me coming home from German class tonight.

Disregard all those sunny pictures I posted from Sunday. Somehow winter arrived and no one warned me! (note to self: really need to learn Celsius so I can understand the weather report).

The temperature has dropped 30 degrees from what it was on Sunday. If this doesn’t argue the case of global climate change, I don’t know what does. I’m also being told, “that’s German weather!”

When I got home from work today, I rooted through my old winter clothes leftover from Baltimore…hats, gloves, wool scarves. But, in my ongoing attempt at purging to live minimally, I’m down to only a few sweaters and two coats.

I looked like I really was headed to the North Face when I biked to German class this evening. When I pulled up to park my bike, I looked around and no one else was bundled up. These people will ride their bikes in any weather and not care!

I’m dreading my 6am ride to the gym tomorrow morning, when it will be 40. That’s almost in the 30s. I’m getting up early to suit up for the Arctic blast.
