A train full of Audis, the epitome of German engineering. And a German hippie!

I thought I’d share pics from my daily train travel. There’s really never a dull moment when it comes to the train: the ongoing strike, unexpected cancelations, almost daily delays on the way home (why don’t they just permanently change the time of the train to 5 minutes later?), the woman who freaked out at me filing my nails.

This guy gets on with his walking stick and pack who disappeared in the bathroom for a good 10 minutes.

I think a lot about when/if I should get a car and even though people can be annoying and the train can be completely unreliable, I know I’d miss my time to read and sip my tea. I make sure I take full advantage of this time because it’s a small respite in the midst of otherwise full days.

Sit, sip, breathe.

But not too deeply…sometimes I end up in the car that is best described as “Euro pungent”.
